One week.

His name is Mike and he lives in Huntington Beach. Since our first date last Wednesday, I have hung out with him five times and he lives an hour away.

Yesterday he drove here even though he wasn’t feeling well. He showed up with three little flowers he picked from a bush, trail mix, raspberries, mango, some very underwhelming white nectarines, and water in a bag. 

We ate Thai food for dinner and he sat on the same side of the booth as me. Yes, I am part of that silly couple that sits on the same side of the booth when they go out to eat. Do I care? Not at all.

 Then we finished the rest of the first episode of Battlestar Galactica. He told me he wants to watch the whole series with me. I think he wants to keep me around?

 No guy has ever made me feel this special. I’ve been given excuses from other guys about distance, how busy they are, etc. Mike worked almost 24 hours Monday and Tuesday so he could take Wednesday afternoon/evening off to come out and see me. How did I get this lucky?

He told me his mom likes me because I seem genuinely nice and his dad likes me because I dislike cats.

I could talk more, but I won’t. Pictures will come soon enough. I’m happy. :) And I was already happy before a week ago, so I am just obnoxiously happy now. Please don’t hate me for my happiness, tumblr!
